MCP tools
Canonical names from src/tool-catalog.ts. Aliases still work; new integrations should call the canonical tool.
Source of truth: src/tool-catalog.ts in the engine. Counts and names in
this page come from that file, not from a README.
New MCP tokens default to the agent toolset. Tokens created before
2026-08-17 see all (fail-open). graph and ops are additive.
Deprecated tools stay visible in all during the alias window. Do not
teach them to a new client.
Agent toolset (default)
Recall:

Graph toolset
Knowledge graph, decisions, provenance, conflicts. Canonical names:
kg_query, kg_explain, kg_entity_resolve_report, kg_quarantine,
list_entity_cards, find_causal_links, memory_evolution_status,
provenance, conflicts, memory_arcs, timeline, find_similar,
decisions. ripple_rag_retrieve is beta.
Older names (record_decision, trace_lineage, detect_conflicts, …)
are aliases of those canonical tools. They still work.
Ops toolset
Curation and metering: lifecycle_*, reindex, index_stats,
import_docs, export_docs, vault_sync, list_vaults, beads_sync,
build_graphs, operations, usage_report, feedback.
Deprecated — do not teach

The marketing /docs page still says "MCP store tool". That name is the
